"Enjoy tasty loose leaf teas, proper coffee, amazing cakes and exceptional afternoon teas"

Lavender Tea Rooms - Shop Front 2021.jpg

Centrally located in Hebden Court, a charming courtyard setting in the popular Peak District market town of Bakewell, a visit to our recently refurbished tea room is an absolute must.

Whether you are a local resident or visitor to the area you are guaranteed a warm welcome. We are proud to be working with local suppliers to provide you with freshly made cakes, pastries and tarts, homemade sandwiches on freshly baked bread, proper coffee and perfectly blended loose leaf teas all served in and on vintage, mismatched crockery.

Afternoon teas continue to be our speciality and are best enjoyed in our upstairs dining area looking out over the bustling courtyard. We offer a choice of Traditional, Deluxe, Vegetarian and Vegan afternoon teas all served on traditional tiered stands. Booking in advance is recommended to guarantee availability.

Our shabby chic tea room is set on two floors seating 32 guests in a comfortable and safe environment. Additional tables are situated outside in the courtyard where we can seat a further 18 customers who prefer to enjoy our food and drink alfresco. In the summer months we offer the shade of parasols and in the cooler months the warmth of a fluffy throw. Dogs are welcome in the courtyard where they can enjoy a little refreshment too from our freshly filled water bowls.

Please ensure you pay The Lavender Tea Rooms a visit when you are visiting Bakewell, we look forward to serving you and we are confident you will return time and time again.
