Centrally located in Hebden Court, a charming courtyard in the heart of the bustling Peak District market town of Bakewell, our recently refurbished tea room is a must-visit.

 

Whether you are a local resident or visiting the area, you are guaranteed a warm welcome. We are proud to work with local suppliers to bring you freshly made cakes, pastries, tarts, homemade sandwiches on freshly baked bread, proper coffee, and perfectly blended loose-leaf teas, all served in vintage, mismatched crockery.

Afternoon Tea is our speciality and is best enjoyed in our upstairs dining area, which looks out over the lively courtyard. You can choose from our Traditional, Deluxe, Vegetarian, or Vegan afternoon teas, all beautifully presented on traditional tiered stands. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

Our shabby chic tea room is set across two floors and seats 32 guests in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Additional outdoor seating in the courtyard accommodates a further 18 guests who prefer to dine alfresco. During the summer months we offer the shade of parasols, and in cooler weather we provide cosy, fluffy throws. Dogs are welcome in the courtyard and can enjoy a refreshing drink from our freshly filled water bowls.
